Chris Spears is the perfect example of how dynamic and rewarding a career in this industry can be so let’s take a look at his journey to becoming a ‘Move Co-Ordinator’:

A Summer Job That Led To a Career

Chris was originally looking for a summer job and when he was offered a position at a removals company, he jumped at the opportunity. After a few months of working at the company, the company was so impressed with Chris that they offered him a full time position.

How Has Chris Progressed?

Since beginning work at the removals company, Chris has gone from strength to strength and has gone far in his career.

Chris now manages a team of 3 to 4 porters to ensure that all customers receive their belongings safely and on time. The company Chris works for also paid for him to train and take his test as an HGV driver meaning that Chris now drives the 18 tonne lorry.

Chris went from taking a summer job at a removals company to managing a team and driving an HGV! Find out more about Chris’ journey and see what advice he has to give to others hoping to find their new career by clicking here.
